Fishbone cactus (Epiphyllum anguliger)
Epiphyllum anguliger, commonly known as the fishbone cactus or zig-zag cactus, is a stunning houseplant, featuring intricate patterns of stems. Its growth rate is relatively fast, maturing in about two years. It's excellent for home decor, as its foliage will take on a cascading chimney-like shape. Its notable pink, star-shaped flowers bloom in the summertime and the plant will reward you with a cheerful ambience all year long.
Care information
Thrives in indirect light but can tolerate periods of bright sun. Like most cacti, fishbone cactus houseplant does best when allowed to dry out between watering. During winter, cut watering by half and then reinstate when spring growth begins.
